Counter battery radar system COBRA will find Russian artillery batteries in Ukraine
At the beginning of September Germany announced that the first COBRA (COunter-Battery RAdar) system had arrived in Ukraine together with other weapons delivered as military aid to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine defend their country. The COBRA system is a huge resource for the defenders of Ukraine and Kyiv has previously requested 40 of these radar systems. The truth of the matter seems to be that Germany doesn’t have that many COBRA’s themselves – they probably have 19 of these counter-battery radars and will deliver 3 of them to Ukraine.
